Renowned British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) business editor Larry Madowo on Sunday visited ailing Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth in Paris, France.
In a Facebook post, the celebrated journalist described the MP as his friend, adding that he was 'in good spirits'.
"Great catching up with my friend Ken Okoth. He's in good spirits and thanks everyone for the support," Madowo posted on Facebook.
Okoth has been undergoing Cancer treatment in Paris, France.
His colleagues from the National Assembly, Senate, friends, relatives, and Kenyans of goodwill have visited him at the Paris hospital, and sent him messages of encouragement as he fights the disease.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) legislator has maintained that he is getting on well with treatment despite contrary rumors on social media.
Kenyans reacted with shock when Okoth announced earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
“I was diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver,” he told the Standard.
Despite being away, the law-maker has been coordinating development projects in his constituency.
