The MP is currently known for his Ondoa Nyasi housing project whose main motive is to construct better houses for poor widows within the constituency which falls under Siaya county.

On Friday, he flanged his wife in her Rarieda Girl Power Initiative which seeks to distribute sanitary towels to school girls across the sub-county.

The project saw them move around and distribute the merchandise to five secondary institutions, these being Lieta, Nyamasore, Gagra, Saradidi and Luoro secondary schools.

In a tweet, the parliamentarian added that the girls were handed towels for the whole year, in an initiative also supported by the Garden of Hope Foundation.

Also incorporated in the initiative is the Marie Stoppes project.

"Joined my dear wife and her Rarieda Girl Power Initiative in distributing sanitary towels to girls In 5 secondary schools, (Lieta, Nyamasore, Gagra, Saradidi and Luoro).

Thanks to Garden Of Hope Foundation, the girls will be provided with One Year Supply Of Pads. Thanks, Marie Stoppes also," he wrote.

The lawmaker doubles up as a lawyer and is on his first term, having taken over the position from Nicholas Gumbo who abandoned the seat for the Siaya gubernatorial one in 2017.
