Kiambu County has a lot of universities and colleges. For instance, there are Kenyatta University, JKUAT, Mount Kenya University, NIBS College among others. Personally, I studied at Kenyatta University, and I witnessed crazy types of parties fellow students used to enjoy while at the campus. Here are some of the parties used to be attended by students:
1. Rave
Raving was is a common thing among students. These is where “partners in crime” go out in clubs to drink and dance. Mostly students rave from Fridays and Saturdays. There are many clubs at Kahawa, Ruiru, Juja and even Thika students go to for their rave.
2. Birthday parties
This is a common type of party among all students. Birthday parties are held any day provided it’s someone’s birthday. Invited friends attended either a closed-door party or some students even choose to take their parties in clubs.
3. End of semester parties
At the end of semesters, especially for students who have finished their studies, they organize parties to end the university or college learning. Such parties can be held in student house or even clubs. In such parties, friends invite only their friends or classmates to celebrate together the end of their studies.
4. After graduation parties
After graduating, some students also hold parties to celebrate their graduation. Most of these parties are attended by family members and friends. Only well behaved friends are invited in such parties to show a good name to the owner’s parents and other family members.
