Besides the main agenda of the university being education, there are other great things that make everyone feel the impact of the transition of moving from high school to an institution of higher learning.

Relationships and lifestyle are some of the things that totally change at this stage, and at the end of this week, social activities at the campus will be at their peak.

This week marks the end of the current semester. Students have been so busy since the semester begun, and the week is a final stretch for most of them.

Some of the students will be finishing their end of semester exams tomorrow (Wednesday) and by Friday most of the exams will be done. As usual, the end of the semester comes with different activities at the main campus.

Some of the things that will be happening before the week comes to an end include:

1. Drinking and partying

Students usually drink and party a lot at the end of the semester which involves a three-month session of nonstop learning. They buy drinks for each other and sometimes student leaders chip in to clear the bills for others. It is also at this time when different organizations at the campus will be celebrating their achievements.

2. 'Exiles'

Exile is when your roommate comes in with his or her lover and asks you to leave the room for them to have some 'quiet time' together. Exiles might be overnight or part of the day. Some of the students will want to spend time with their better halves before breaking for the holidays.

3. Several visits

Students will be visiting each other to share a few things before breaking for the long and short holidays.

4. Break-ups

Yes, they happen at the end of the semester. Some students fall in love with each other while on campus only for the relationship to last three months, that is, one semester.
