Former Senator Joy Adhiambo Gwendo has been sentenced to a two-year-jail term.
Gwendo served as a nominated Senator between 2013 and 2017.
She was nominated under President Uhuru Kenyatta’s then ruling Jubilee Coalition.
She was handed a two-year jail term by a Nairobi Court on Friday, after being found guilty of fraud and abuse of office.
