Esylovians Meli, amid sobs, narrated how her lover flew into the country on Sunday to have the two enjoy their love flame.

The boyfriend, 36-year-old Marcus Rodriguez from Australia, wanted to look for a swanky hotel in the leafy Karen suburb but her girl could hear none of it.

Emeli rejected her boyfriend’s choice of hotel and took him to Dusit2D hotel where she booked him.

He was to stay in the country for two weeks with his model hot girl.

“I regret making him change his mind. He could be alive now if I had not put my foot down on having him stay at dusitD2,” a mourning Emeli said.

The fashion designer and third-year student said she felt like it was her who had given away Marcus to killers.

“I insisted on the hotel because it was easily accessible for me from town. I checked him in on Sunday night,” she added.

And not just had Emeli brought her lover to the hotel, she also on the day of the attack insisted that her boyfriend should not go out alone.

He wanted to go out swimming as Emeli attended a lecture at Kenyatta University’s main campus. She said no!

“Maybe if he went out swimming as he wanted, he could be alive,” said Meli.
