Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has said that the Amani National Congress(ANC) party leader is not naturally bone a leader.
Speaking at KTN point-blank show, the former Ford-Kenya deputy party leader said as far as politics are concerned, Mudavadi should be worried of the crop of Western politicians that are currently championing for Deputy President William Ruto, famously known as tangatanga.
The politicians include Mumias East Member of Parliament Benjamin Jomo Washiali and former Bungoma Governor and current Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka.
"Politically speaking, Musallia Mudavadi should be very afraid of me, Ben Washiali and Ken Lusaka. We are presidential materials," Khalwale said.
The ex-senator said the main difference between them and Mudavadi is the fact that they are self-made while Mudavadi was oriented and bred into politics during the Nyayo era.
"He(Mudavadi) came from the Nyayo laboratories that created political test tubes babies. He is one such a baby, he is not naturally bone a leader like some of us.
"For that reason, we would be looking forward to how much that particular CV that he has can bring in terms of delivering success vis a vis what we are able to do our self," the ex-Senator added.
In 2013, Boni Khalwale was among the politicians who support Mudavadi's unsuccessful presidential bid, when he came third after President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
