According to the Jubilee-allied lawmaker, President Kenyatta should stop running away from DP Ruto after he helped him win the presidency in 2013 and 2017.

“It is unfortunate that Uhuru is disrespecting his deputy who helped him win Presidency. Uhuru’s plan to derail Ruto’s ambition to become president will not work because Ruto will win the presidency in 2022 even without his support,” she said.

Sitienei insisted that DP Ruto is her political role model and pledged not to abandon him in 2022.

“I will rally behind DP Ruto in 2022 so that he wins the presidency. The funny wrangles being experienced in Jubilee whose intention is to derail Ruto’s Presidential bid must be ignored,” she added.

The first-time MP challenged leaders from the North Rift to unite and ensure they support DP Ruto fully ahead of the net poll.

She also warned local politicians against spreading propaganda about DP Ruto after his close allies publicly opposed a lifestyle audit ordered by the president.

“Ruto has struggled to be where he is now. Let us not politicize the ways he used to acquire his wealth and focus on service delivery to our people,” noted Sitienei who spoke on Wednesday in her constituency when she issued wheelchairs to disabled persons.
