It has now emerged that the death toll of Kenyans in the crash has risen to 36 as opposed to 32 as reported by the airline management.

The deputy ambassador George Orina said on Sunday revealed that the information emerged after it was realized that there were some Kenyans who were travelling on passports from other countries but they are citizens of this nation.

“The number has been revised since the four were travelling on the passports of other nationalities,” Mr Orina explained, as quoted by Daily Nation.

The deputy ambassador, however, did not disclose the real identities of those Kenyans who perished following the incident.

The news comes after China, American, and Ethiopian grounded Boeng 737 MAX 8 as leaders raise concern over the safety of the airlines.

Some of the families that lost their loved ones have been forced to bury logs following the tragic incident.

The families have been urging the airline to ensure they get justice as soon as possible. The Ethiopian government has assured victims of a quick probe into the tragic incident.
