For the second time in as many days, Tourism and Trade minister Peter Muga was at pain to explain the recently concluded Miss Tourism competition.
The weekend event in Nairobi saw organisers crown Bernadette Ogega as winner amid protests back home.
And KBC owned Minto FM on Wednesday morning made an impromptu phone call to the minister to investigate the matter on air.
"Yes I am on the road but you can ask. Who is it by the way?" he asked as Presenter Moses identified himself.
He further said: " I am not aware of the competition and I also saw it on social media. We are not party to it."
This is the second time Muga was disowning the beauty queen, having distanced himself from the competition on Monday.
Ms. Ogega, 21, was formerly Miss Campus MMUST and is a renowned entrepreneur who has already declared interest in Nyamira gubernatorial seat.
