Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, his Kilifi counterpart Governor Amason Kingi, and the Coastal ODM leadership held a rally at Mtwapa on November 20, 2016.
The politicians emphasised their concern at the manner in which President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee government was handling corruption, terming it callous.
"In an almost satirical twist, the Deputy President (William Ruto) has embarked on a corruption lecture tour at the coast. There are a myriad of unsettled cases involving him and the people he is linked to the NYS scandal," said Joho.
The two also emphasised the scandals of Eurobond, Standard Gauge Railway, Mafia House, NYS and Chicken Gate that all revolved around the Jubilee Government.
"We urge the Government to behave in a manner befitting a government as they prepare to leave office in 2017," said the ODM Deputy Party Leader.
