Maangi while addressing church faithful during a church service at Bunyunyu SDA Church in West Mugirango, Nyamira County on Saturday argued that local politicians should not use BBI to get political mileage.

"As we wait for the BBI report to be presented to President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, I appeal to local leaders in Nyamira and Kisii counties not to mislead the public about the BBI. Once the BBI is made public everyone should find time to read and know what the BBI is recommending," Maangi stated.

According to Maangi, he will not have any problem with the BBI because it is aimed at ending political violence in the country.

He stressed the need tolerance saying politicians should shun petty politics based on political parties and tribe.

"I trust that as politicians from Gusii region we will be at the front line supporting the BBI. I urge the electorates to give deaf ears to any politician who will be out to oppose the BBI with an aim of seeking political relevance," stated Maangi.
