Several people are feared dead in Duka Moja, along Mai Mahiu-Narok highway after a truck lost control and rammed into two vehicles.
The Friday evening accident was precipitated by a truck, carrying drilling machine which veered off the road knocking a lorry ferrying fish and a passenger matatu.
The Matatu belongs to Transline Classic which operates along Kisii-Nairobi routes. The Matatu was severely damaged, an indication of more casualties.
Rescue efforts are ongoing with locals from the shopping centers and other motorists evacuating those in critical condition.
The accident comes barely a month after another grisly accident that left 58 people dead in Kericho County.

By the time of going to the press, at least six bodies had been recovered from the scene as the injured people were rushed to Kijabe and Narok District Hospital.
