Nicholas Nyang'au argued that for the last 10 months, Governor Nyagarama only paid ECDE teachers for just 3 months.

"It is sad that ECDE teachers who have been working tirelessly in our schools are yet to be paid their seven months salaries. Nyagarama has ignored our pleas to pay the ECDE teachers who were hired by the county government," he said.

Nyang'au said now that the governor has kicked out at least 1,000 employees from the county payroll, he should pay the ECDE teachers.

"ECDE teachers should get the seven months salaries without any condition because Nyagarama is clearing the mess at the county payroll," he stated.

Nyang'au wondered why cartels could hire relatives to work at the devolved unit.

He insisted that if it means Nyagarama will be an enemy to the people of Nyamira by kicking out illegally hired individuals; he should become one.

The official reiterated that he will push the county government to the end to pay the county ECDE teachers.
