Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama has congratulated Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i following his recent appointment by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a facebook post, Arama said Matiang'i is up to the task.
"I take this opportunity to congratulate Interior CS Fred Matiang'i for his latest appointment by the president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta as the chair of new committee of all cabinet secretaries to supervise government projects including the Big Four Agenda," he said.
The Jubilee party MP has on the recent past been suggesting that Matiang'i should succeed President Kenyatta in 2022, noting that the top seat should not be a preserve for only dominant communities in Kenya.
On Tuesday, Matiang'i was appointed by Uhuru to chair a new committee of all Cabinet Secretaries to supervise all government projects.
