Justice James Wakiaga took over from Justice Lessit after she recused herself from the case last week.

Justice Wakiaga has, however, warned journalists covering the case against passing on information to Kenyans before confirming its source. He also put on notice parties that will be found feeding the media with fake information.

"As an old-school Judge, I could even be influenced by media publication on the case. It's prudent that the parties involved stop feeding media information in relation to the case," he said.

Maribe and Jowie will wait until October 24, 2018, to know their fate concerning their bail application.

Kuria shared photos of him and Maribe in court with the caption 'friendship is precious no matter what' with the post eliciting mixed reactions among Kenyans.

Here is how Kenyans reacted to the post.
