Credit Bank has expanded its services by opening a state of the art office in Eldoret town to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the county.
Speaking during the grand opening on Thursday, the bank's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Betty Korir said this will help bring services closer to their clients.
“We are well positioned to support the SME sector in this country, we have the expertise to advise and support especially those in trade business. Coupled with excellent customer service, we believe the bank is on its way to being in the top tiers in the near future,” she said.
Credit bank is recognized as being one of the financial institutions that supports most SMEs in the country.
“Our focus on supporting the SME sector is beyond financial, we offer technical support through the Entrepreneurs Hub to ensure continuity of these businesses. We have products that fit the SMEs,” she added.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago who also graced the occasion said he is open to more investment opportunities that will be of benefit to the county, and enable the development of the economy.
He promised to give the bank his full support to ensure that SMEs are facilitated financially.
