Many were wondering who made the song and what inspired the artist to come up with such lyrics.

The artist goes by the name Alvindo. He coined the name from Alvin, a 21-year-old from Shauri Moyo.

In an interview with a local media, he revealed that initially he made the song for fun and only wanted to share what he was feeling in a song.

" I wrote just a 30-second clip and posted on WhatsApp,  it surprised me how it went viral and even reached KRG The Don," said Alvindo.

KRG The Don is a producer and an artist who then made an effort to look for Alvindo in order to make the 30-second clip a piece of amazing music.

When asked what inspired the lyrics of the song,  Alvindo says it came from a real personal experience.

"It is really personal,  just the way it's in the lyrics,  I had approached a lady and she declined my proposal to have her as my girlfriend, so I decided to write a song out of that", he said.

When asked what he can tell the lady should they meet now given he has become a star, Alvindo held that he'd simply turn down the lady.

In an interview with a different local station, he revealed the name of the lady as Natasha.
