ODM has had vocal politicians in parliament who were lethal to the Jubilee administration but ever since President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga shook hands, the legislators have gone mute.

These are just but a few vocal ODM MPs who seemed to have been silenced by the handshake.

1.Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi.

James Opiyo Wandayi who was once ejected from parliament for disrupting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s State of the Nation address by constantly blowing the whistle has gone mute to date since the handshake.

The Ugunja MP once also rejected the proposal of the joint select committee to pay Independent Electoral and  Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners as a condition for their exit from office citing that the agreement between the committee and the commission is not binding since there is no law that allows for payment of work not done.

2.Millie Mabona Odhiambo.

The Suba North legislator who on record vowed never to recognize President Kenyatta and his administration constantly causing drama in parliament has been silenced by the handshake between Odinga and Kenyatta.

The vocal women and child rights activist and a lawyer by profession has been Odinga's core defender in parliament regardless of government threats by then.

3.Aisha Jumwa

The Malindi MP, the then great critic of the government and Raila Odinga coast region guard and defender ever since the march handshake has not been on the tore as she has refrained concentrating on helping her people in tackling emerging issues.

Her association with deputy president further is costing her as she was recently de-whipped by her party.
