Kerr resigned from his post last week and has since joined South Africa side Black Leopards.

The two players are creative midfielder Francis Nyambura Kahata and defender Philomen Otieno.

“Dylan (Kerr) is likely set to sign a two-year contract before the end of this week and what I know he will recommend for a number of signings and this will definitely affect Gor Mahia. He is a great admirer of Philemon Otieno and Francis Kahata, so expect the two to make the list of transfer, if he pens a deal in South Africa,” a close source to the club said as quoted by Goal.

Kerr resigned from his position as Gor Mahia head Coach last week, indicating that he was positioning himself for greener pastures.

He joined K'ogallo last year and leaves after leading the team to two back-to-back KPL titles in 2017 and 2018.

According to Gor Mahia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Omondi Aduda, more than 30 Coaches have submitted their applications angling to replace Kerr.

Among the applicants are former AFC Leopards Coaches Luc Eymael and Pieter De Jongh.

The CEO says they will have a new Coach before the new league season kicks off on December 08, 2018.
