Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has yet again lashed out at Deputy President William Ruto, accusing him of doing things without taking advice.
The DP has intensified his campaigns in the recent past, making over 25 combined trips to Nyamira and Kisii Counties in the past one year.
A fortnight ago, he visited Nyamira where he was endorsed by a host of local leaders, who hailed him for being a development oriented leader.
But in an Interview with NTV on Monday, Onyonka accused Ruto of continued deliberate onslaught against ODM leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I went to DP Ruto's house, I told to stop talking about Raila because he's qualified, educated and should talk about himself. I told him Raila is not the problem.
"Also, I asked him to tame his people against talking about Uhuru, you can seen even what they have posted on Facebook. I told him to slow down because the president had asked him to do so. However, he never listens, that's why I left him without regrets," he said.
The third term MP decamped from Ruto's camp barely three weeks ago for Mr Odinga, arguing that the DP is irredeemably corrupt and should not be trusted with power.
Despite his initial working relationship with Ruto, the DP has remained mum over Mr Onyonka's U-turn, which is however not a shocker given his party hopping record.
