Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Sunday condoled with retired President Daniel Moi following the death, and burial of his eldest son Jonathan Toroitich who was buried last week.
Raila who appears to have mended the fences with Moi whom he constantly clashed with in the 80s and 90s was away in China during Jonathan's burial in Kabimoi, Baringo county.
On Sunday, Odinga and his elder brother, East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) member of parliament Oburu Oginga visited Moi at his Kabarak home in Nakuru county.
They were welcomed by Baringo Senator and Moi's last born son Gideon, who was accompanied by his wife Zahra.
Also present during the visit were Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos, Kenya African National Union (KANU) Secretary General Nick Salat and Tiaty lawmaker William Kamket.
KANU nominated Senator Halakhe Abshiro, and Jonathan's widow Sylvia Toroitich, whom Raila also proceeded to condole with for the loss, were also present, according to reports on the Standard.
