Former Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura has been grilled over an incident where he shot in the air on Saturday evening.
Obura told police at the Karen police station that he was driving to his home at about 5.30 pm when was forced to shoot at a motorist for reportedly trailing him.
Obura said he was not with his body and got scared of the incident fearing the motorist would harm him.
He fetched his gun and shot in the air to scare the person.
Karen OCPD Cunningham Suiyanka confirmed the incident.
“I believe he shot to the air in self-defence.
No one was injured during the incident,” said the police boss.
