1. Bread: Bread should not be kept in the fridge. Bread stored in a refrigerator will go stale faster due to the cold temperature.

2. Cucumber: Cucumbers should be stored at room temperature. When refrigerated, they'll become watery and pitted.

3. Pumpkins: Pumpkins should not be kept in cold places because the cold will make them turn faster. They should instead be stored in a well-ventilated dry area.

4. Spices: Keeping food spices in the refrigerator is not the best choice because it takes away the flavour. Spices will retain their flavour if stored at room temperature.

5. Honey: Keeping honey in a very cold environment will crystallize it and make it become grainy. It is best to keep it sealed and at room temperature.

6. Potatoes: Potatoes are supposed to be left unwashed and kept at room temperature. Keeping them in the refrigerator will have them lose starch and turn into sugar.

7. Avocado: Keeping avocado in a refrigerator will hinder or slow down the ripening process.

8. Onions: Onions are better kept in a dry area than in cold places. Keeping them in a refrigerator will have them sprouting and lose taste. They will also become damp and soggy, which will make them go bad faster.

9. Olive oil: Olive oil should be kept in a dark and sealed place. Keeping it in the fridge makes it lose its colour and consistency.

10. Chocolate: Storing chocolate in the refrigerator will affect its colour, texture as well as taste. It is best to store chocolate in a cool, dry place.
