The politics of this region need nice planning, strategizing and credible package.

There are three legislators in Uasin Gishu county who are likely to retain their seats in the next general elections.  This is largely attributed to their continuous genuine loyalty to the Deputy President William Ruto who is the region’s political kingpin and also a number of factors as outlined below:

Oscar Sudi

This being his second term in office, Sudi is day by day winning the confidence of Kapseret constituents. He has done a number of development programs in Kapseret; he is a close confidant to the political kingpins of the North Rift including governor Jackson Mandago and DP Ruto. He is mostly going to retain his seat in the next general elections because of his unique ability to serve people without nepotism and deal with everybody regardless of their social class and political affiliations.

Dr Swarup Mishra

The amount of political and social development impact Dr Mishra has brought into Kesses constituency is so enormous that the electorate cannot easily think of replacing him in 2022. He has worked closely with all leaders both at the county and national governments. He really has got a sense of what devolution is, its importance and how it can be achieved.

Mishra is well versed with the government’s Big Four Agenda and that is evident with the development projects he has implemented across Kesses.

Caleb Kositany

Soy’s vocal legislator has dearly won the hearts of his constituents by his continued loyalty to the Deputy President and also his approach to the development programs in his constituency. His frequent presence on the ground to listen to the people, the ability to bring together relevant stakeholders and selfless tacts are key in his success. He is undoubtedly going to retain the seat.
