After more than two years in a Tanzanian politician cum businessman Don Bosco Gichana was finally released and on, Wednesday he decided to break the silence.
The relieved Don Bosco, turned to his Facebook page and expressed his gratitude to his loyal supporters who have been praying for him for the period he was in jail.
He appreciated everyone's efforts and said he would give a full account of what transpired later in the day.
"To everyone, your efforts, prayers, commitments and tireless endeavours you extended towards my release, never went without returns. I am deeply grateful to everyone. I will discuss in depth with everyone about the judgment, " Bosco said in his post.
This follows after hot campaigns by Gusii legislators led by Dagoretti MP Simba Arati, who requested NASA chief Raila Odinga to use his good ties with Tanzanian President John Magufuli, to have Don Bosco released.
He was fined Sh15 million. The businessman had fostered campaigns for Raila in 2007, not only in Gusii region but the countrywide.
