A ten-year-old girl is nursing injuries in the Garissa General Hospital after being burnt with hot water on the head and neck regions by her employer.
The girl identified as Sowda Hassan Ibrahim is battling for her life after her boss arrived in the evening to find that she had prepared 'bad' food for her.
Speaking to this writer from the hospital ward, Sowda revealed that her boss poured hot water on her besides using a sharp object to prick her severally.
"She came home and said I had not prepared the food to her standards. She took hot water that was warming up and poured them on me. She also pricked me severally using a sharp object," narrated Sowda, amid sobs.
Despite the girl being a minor, the boss lady had denied her the opportunity of going to school.
Neighbors are now appealing to local security agencies and child rights' authorities to take up the matter and deliver justice to the minor.
At the time of going to press, the beast woman is yet to be arrested.
