Renowned billionaire entrepreneur and venture capitalist Chris Kirubi revealed Monday the values that have powered his incredible success.
In a Facebook post, Mr Kirubi revealed that he had faced rejection multiple times but he had not given up. Being rejected has helped him build confidence, toughness and patience.
He revealed that building a successful business requires focus.
"One thing that has kept me going through my entrepreneurial journey has been resilience. I have faced rejection multiple times but that has enabled me to build toughness, patience and confidence.
"When you develop a business, you must focus and be a master of it, if at all you want it to succeed. You will face rejection but that doesn’t always mean you’re failing. Stay the course and don’t quit. #AskKirubi," his post read.
Kirubi has over the years built a successful business empire that is the envy of aspiring entrepreneurs.
He is among the richest people in Kenya and has interests in the media and manufacturing industry.
Among his circle of friends are President Uhuru and veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Last week, he joined the ODM party leader in Tatu City for a housing project aimed at easing the housing crisis in the country.
