Citizen TV News anchor Jackie Maribe and Statehouse Digital Communication Director Denis Itumbi have come out to clear speculations that they have been dating.
This came as Jackie Maribe posted her engagement photos on social media on Monday.
The engagement which happened over the weekend was witnessed by among Jackie's friends Terryane Chebet and radio presenter Shix Kapianga.
The two close friends have been speculated to be dating until Jackie's fiancee, identified as Jowi proposed and she happily accepted.
Mr Itumbi at one point went down on record surprising Jackie with a birthday cake in the middle of a news bulletin. Mr Itumbi wrote a congratulatory message on the comment section after Jackie posted the engagement photos.
"May laughter fill your path, may you live to enjoy life and share the beauty of your love,” Dennis wrote.
Jackie referred to the speculated relationship as a joke and that people should give them a break.
"Seriously when will this joke stating we were apparently together ever end?" she posed.
Mr Itumbi further noted that he was aware that people think he was dumped after Jackie 's engagement emerged.
