And just after grand fundraiser by fans that managed over Sh2.5 million, Mr. Joseph Mochere's final journey has been scheduled for this Friday.
In line with Abagusii culture, Mochere popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose will be ferried from Nairobi on Thursday for a night vigil at his Nyamira home.
During the vigil, given his strong comedy background, several artists will pitch tent at his home once the body arrives on Thursday evening.
Already, dedicated fans from Nairobi have volunteered transportation means among them buses from Guardian Angel company.
On Friday, a ceremony in his honour will be held at his father's home where friends and family will be allowed to pay tribute in short speeches.
Thereafter, a ritual is expected to be carried out after short sermon by the Catholic church, which the family has followed for years.
In the ritual, a sheep will be slaughtered on his grave as part of cleansing to avoid such suicide scenarios in future.
Mr. Mochere's home is slightly 2 Kilometers from Mosobeti market in West Mugirango Constituency.
He committed suicide early this month in Nairobi in what is believed to be family wrangles.
Until his death, he worked as a comedian in Royal Media's Egesa FM.
