Shabana FC tactician Gilbert Selebwa has been suspended by Football Kenya Federation for some time over Gross football misconduct. This occured on 16/1/2019 during their last match against Eldoret youth FC.

The Ex-AFC Leopards team manager is accused of attacking the First assistant referee and slapping him several times, before proceeding to .walk to the field of play and attacked the center referee.

The match's day report written by the match commissioner was enough evidence for FKF to suspend Selebwa, with a letter sent to Shabana clearly stating the same. 

"Therefore you are kindly requested to take note you are provisionally suspended from taking part in all FKF organized competition until the submission of the case to FKF disciplinary committee," partly of the letter read which was posted on official FKF website.

Alongside Selebwa, goalkeepers' trainers was also suspended for pinching an ear of the centre referee.

Assistant manager Andrew Kinuli handled the team as they faced Bidco on Saturday at the Gusii stadium. On Wednesday Shabana lost to Eldoret youth FC to 1-0.
