DPP Hajji's county is seemingly wading into more crisis following the recent unfolding that threatens its survival.
The most recent incident is the arrest of its governor by flying squad officers over his alleged role in former CEC's attempted assassination.
Just hours before the imminent arrest of the governor, the Senate Public Accounts Committee led by the Narok Senator Ledama Olekina kicked him out of the session because he could not table all the required documentation necessary for the inquiry to proceed.
Incidentally, the committee described the governor as not being serious in handling the matter conclusively.
Away from this, the executive has been rocked with massive cartels that have seen the county lose public monies of over Ksh 147 Million through ghost tenders to the governor's close accomplices.
Furthermore, the Garissa Referral hospital is also facing closure following the freezing of its accounts.
This followed the loss of Ksh 19 million from the NHIF kitty.
In light of these and many more graft cases that have rocked the county, a speedy action needs to be undertaken by the office of the DPP to save the face of the county that might soon get to the dogs.
