Kisii County Women MP Janet Ong'era on Tuesday fired warning shots to her lazy rivals criticizing her 'commendable' job.
Speaking at a funeral ceremony of the Late Charles Maragia Gechuki at Itierio in Bonchari Constituency Kisii County, the county MP said she won't succumb to cheap criticism.
"I have been traversing the whole county since I was declared a winner last year but, it is very unfortunate that some lazy opponents are spreading propaganda about my leadership. No region will be discriminated throughout my tenure," she noted.
The ODM allied lawmaker insisted that political losers should wait for the right time (2022) to play politics.
"We are not politicking because we finished elections last year. Those still playing dirty politics should be apprehended to face prosecution," she maintained.
According to her, she is not ready to play politics before 2022.
"I will only participate in politicking with lazy rivals only in 2022. For now, I need to have ample time to serve the electorates," she added.
She warned local leaders against dragging her into 2022 succession saying when the right time comes, she will go public to tell people on which seat she will vie.
