The elections for Moi University Student Organization (MUSO) are just around the corner and students who have political ambitions are busy campaigning for various positions.
There are some students who stand out to be very influential aspirants. Among them is Brian Sankei. The 22-year-old second-year student in the School of Agriculture is vying for co-curriculum activities representative. He is arguably the most influential student's leader aspirant.
He is well known from his perfect eloquence. Students compare his speeches with those of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Being a good speaker, he is able to convince a large number of comrades. Fellow comrades have nicknamed him 'Simba' because his opponents fear him politically.
Speaking to hivisasa.com, Brian Sankei revealed that he has a passion for politics and he believes that one day he will be the president of this nation.
"Politic is my passion. I believe I was born to lead and one day I'll be the president of Kenya," he said while also urging his fellow comrades to avoid dirty politics.
"This is a defining week in Moi University, comrades let us not sell our intellectual minds to sycophancy, ethnic demagoguery and political chicanery, let's not allow tribal stereotyping balkanization and constellation to come to maturity," insisted Sankei.
He further asked fellow comrades to carry out campaigns and elections peacefully so as to have a humble stay on the campus.
