Jumwa, who has since been expelled over alleged disloyalty to the party, has since moved to court against the move, with Sifuna claiming that her petition has misleading information.

Speaking on Wednesday, he revealed that despite her open attacks on the party and endorsements for Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid, Jumwa has termed herself a staunch supporter of ODM in her court appeal.

He added that she has also named herself a leading defender of the party leader Raila Odinga, which is contrary to what she is showing during public functions.

"Inashangaza sana kwamba pale kwa msajili was vyama na kortini yeye anasema eti yuko ndani kabisa ya ODM. Pia anasema yeye ni mfuasi mkali sana wa chama na kiongozi wake (its shocking that in her papers presented to the registrar of political parties and court she is terming herself a staunch supporter of the party and its leader and also a deeply rooted member)," said Sifuna.

Sifuna who was speaking on Milele FM's Kivumbi Show confirmed that Jumwa is no longer a supporter of the party and has since crossed over to Ruto's faction of Jubilee Party.

He challenged her to take a motion to the house to scrap the law tying one to a political party on which they were elexted if she is unwilling to bear the consequences of party hopping.

"Kama hataki kufukuzwa alete mswada bungeni ili aruhusiwe kutangatanga (let her bring a motion to be allowed to party hop if she doesn't want to deal with the punishment)," he added.
