Here are five rock music bands that are likely to occupy your urban radio stations in the next decade or so:

1.20 More Days

This is a new band and their spotlight shone in 2017 with the release of their second album 'Maisha', a descriptive song that explains the daily hustle in Nairobi and what the residents do to get by the day.

 Next to that huge hit was 'Chepchumba' and ''Nairobi''. 

These boys are destined for greatness.

2.Dove Slimme

 Dove Slimme comprises of a lady and four men. 

Their 2014 record, ''Leo ni Leo'' saw the group get the ultimate hype anyone would like to have.

They later reorganised and released their most recent album ''Whatchu want''  

3.Koinange Street Avengers (KSA)

''Sting like a butterfly'' is their latest hit song with a promising lyrical flow. 

Unfortunately, KSA lost one of their members and it is unclear how the band will reorganise itself

4.Rash Band 

The band made up of 5 guys has been in the limelight for quite some time and their music dominance is steadily growing following their most recent releases, '''Nitachange' which was followed by 'Night at the Rock bar'. 

5.Crystal Axis 

After a 5 year hiatus, the band has returned to the Kenyan rock scene with a new single, ''Leopold'', a historically-linked song regarding the ills of the Belgium colonial master, king Leopold while in Africa.
