Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino's recent claims that he knows whom the Deputy President sold the fake gold to have elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans in the social media.
Sharing the message on his official Facebook account, Kenyans poured out their hearts on the current gold scam hitting the country.
"I know of one client whom the deputy President sold fake gold to. Dossier coming out. Hatupendiujinga," Babu Owino's Facebook post read.
The fake gold syndicate has seen a number of big names in Kenya dragged along the scam.
This comes after leaked audio of Bungoma senator Moses Wetangala negotiating with an Arab dealer for the disbursement of the consignment where the names of President Kenyatta and former Prime Minister and Interior Cabinet Secretary were mentioned.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has made a number of arrests as investigations intensify where Wetangula who is in China now has also been named a person of interest.
