Abagusi Council of Elders secretary Bosire Angwenyi has described Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i as a 'total man' following the opening of an Immigration office in Kisii town a few days ago.
Angwenyi argued that Matiang'i's good work in government has built the name of the Abagusii community at large.
"In the past, our people have been travelling to Nairobi and Kisumu to apply for passports but under the leadership of Matiang'i in the Interior docket, we have an Immigration office where our people will be getting the passports. This is a commendable job Matiang'i is doing after he was absorbed into the government," said Bosire as reported by Egesa FM
Angwenyi challenged a section of politicians opposed to Matiang'i's good work to mind their own businesses and allow Matiang'i to serve Kenyans in peace.
Bosire urged Matiang'i not to give his ears to critics who are out seeking political mileage by dragging him into petty politics.
"Our CS needs to ignore critics who are idling with no work to do. On behalf of Abagusii Council of Elders, I want to confirm that we have confidence in Matiang'i. Let him continue doing a great job helping Kenyans," he added.
