Gor Mahia has moved 15 points clear in the Sportpesa Premier League after edging Kariobangi Sharks 3-0 in a match that was played at Moi Stadium, Kisumu on Wednesday.
Kariobangi Sharks defender Geoffrey Shitoa scored an own goal in the 26th minute, of the game from Francis Kahata cross.
Kevin Omondi, who was bought in the second half scored the second goal from a corner, before Lawrence Juma scored the third goal in the 84th minute to seal a comfortable win.
Goar rested some of his players including goalkeeper Boniface Oluch and strike Jacques Tusiyenge.
Gor coach Dylian Kerr praised his players for the good show that they put up, which came a few days after the team thrashed Tanzania's Yanga in a CAF Confederations match.
"The players have played a good game and I am happy with the team for winning this match." he said.
Gor are now on 55 points on the log, and have 3 matches at hand.
