This is after the DCI through its Serious Crime Detectives tracked and traced one Mac laptop that had been reported stolen.

The officers traced the laptop in one of the shops at Kimathi House. They also recovered other several assorted laptops at the shop, an indication those who have been stealing laptops from the public have been selling them at the shop.

The raid also led to the arrest of one suspect.

The public is therefore asked to present themselves at the DCI to have a look at the recovered laptops and see if they can identify the machines.

"Yesterday, Serious Crime Detectives recovered several assorted Laptops from a shop at Kimathi House. This was after a stolen Mac book was traced to the shop. One suspect arrested. We appeal to members of public who may have lost items to come to OIC #SeriousCrimeUnit & identify," the DCI tweed.

In a similar case, one man identified as Michael Joseph Otieno Odhiambo alias ‘Spiderman’ was on Saturday arrested at Greenhouse Building in Kilimani, Nairobi County, where several laptops were recovered from the suspect.

It was alleged he had been breaking into houses before making away with their electronics.
