Popular Uganda socialite cum business lady Zari Hassan has named Kenyan musician Akothee as her source of inspiration.
Zari who was speaking during an interview with Tanzanian journalist Millard Ayo, claimed that she loves the fact that Akothee is not only hard working but also never afraid of pursuing what she loves.
She also added that she loves Akothee's crazy personality.
“I love you and you know that, but you are very crazy. Akothee is not afraid to pursue what she loves. You will see her in the farm, you will see her advertising airlines and various companies, she is everywhere. She inspires me because she is a hardworking lady. (Nakupenda sana na unalijua ilo lakini wewe ni chizi. Akothee haogopi kwenda kupata kitu anachokipenda ... utamuona yupo shambani, akiwa anatangaza ndege na kufanya matangazo na makampuni mbali mbali yaani yupo kila sehemu , anani inspire kwasababu ni mwanamke mpambanaji na mwenye bidii sana)," Zari said as quoted in an Instagram post shared by Akothee.
The two have grown closer in the past few weeks during which Zari visited Kenya to meet with Akothee and even partnered on a project.
Apart from the fact that the two are among the leading female celebrities in East Africa, they are also popular for the expensive and posh life.
They are also known for the pride in motherhood. Both Akothee and Zari have 5 children each.
