Thursday's stormy parliamentary session will go down as one of the darkest moment in Kenyan history.
While President Uhuru Kenyatta managed to have his new tax proposals passed albeit controversially, the debate many not be over soon after some MPs vowed to move to court.
And in the center of well coordinated revolution were Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango) and Richard Onyonka (Kitutu Chache South).
The two Ford Kenya legislators, who mobilised MPs to chant pro-opposion slogans, have thrilled their supporters back home.
"We had the majority but they rigged us. The war is not yet over. We have alternatives including court," Kemosi said.
Onyonka said: "Government lost. They should call us and we tell them where to get money. This is a sad day but the spirit is high."
On social media, their photos trended with supporters showering them with praises for 'standing firm'.
While Onyonka, formally in ODM, is serving his third term, Kemosi, a lawyer by profession is a first time MP.
He replaced James Gesami, a former Minister who had lost to Governor John Nyagarama in 2017.
The two worked closely with Simba Arati, the Dagoretti North legislator with roots from Kisii County.
