Akothee is no doubt among the top richest female musicians in Kenya. The mother of five is not only a musician but also a business woman.
Recently, fans of her daughter Rue (the model) asked her whether her mom smokes weed or not.
“Does your mum smoke weed?” one fan asked Rue.
In response, Rue tagged her mother, Akothee and asked her to come and answer the question.
She wrote: “@akotheekenya, come answer your question owada, naaah she doesn’t.”
However, Akothee who took a screenshot of this question, shared it on her wall and answered it.
She revealed that she smokes weed, with everything that comes with it, leaves and seeds.

But weed is illegal in Kenya right? Well, not long ago, various leaders including Kibera MP Ken Okoth have campaigned for weed to be legalised.
Okoth even presented a bill to the National Assembly Speaker seeking legalisation of the growth and use of the herb.
However, this might not be true as many people know Akothee as a don’t care woman who can say anything or do anything that pleases her.
The controversial single mother of five who branded herself the president of single mothers has always insisted that she will live her life the way she wants.
