According to Mwangi, the reshuffling won't change the state of affairs of the country as far as corruption is concerned.

Mwangi, who unsuccessfully contested for the Starehe parliamentary seat during the August  8, 2017, general election as an independent candidate, compared Uhuru's actions to one applying lipsticks to a corpse.

Uhuru, who travelled to Ethiopia, shortly after sending Echesa packing and has been committed to the big four agenda.

“President Kenyatta is applying lipstick on a corpse,” Boniface Mwangi tweeted on Friday.

Senator Murkomen had earlier reacted to the new development by congratulating the new Cabinet Secretary nominee Prof. George Magoha for the new job.

“Congratulations to my friend Prof.George Albert Omore Magoha for your well-deserved appointment. Best wishes to my sister Amb.Mohamed in her new station. To my friend Rashid Echesa good speed!” tweeted Senator Murkomen.

Echesa’s place has been filled with CS Amina Mohamed who was the cabinet secretary for education.

The decision of President Uhuru reshuffling the cabinet came not long before his frequent warnings towards the cabinet secretaries.
