Even as cases of depression pitting Kenyan youths sharply shoot up, a security officer has come out crying for help.
Apollo Koria, a police constable is now calling out for Kenyans of goodwill to help him cope with frustrations meted on him by a powerful officer based at the Jogoo House, Nairobi.
In a Facebook post, Koria recounts on how a senior Assistant Inspector General (AIG) is frustrating him, sealing all possible avenues for help.
"To my lovely brothers and sisters. I'm feeling so depressed at this hour. A very senior administration officer AIG Mr Lumwatu Jogoo House has conspired to frustrate me at work to the point of death. All avenues to address my predicament closed under his powerful influence. Please pray for me for divine intervention," Koria wrote on his Facebook account.
The officer's cry for help comes barely two weeks after Asbel Kiprop, a police officer of the rank of Chief Inspector, threatened to use his gun to find himself justice.
Using the same Facebook platform, Kiprop had dared the National Police Service to disarm him before he misuses his gun.
The call caught the attention of the newly crowned Inspector General Mutyambai who summoned him to his office, promising necessary action to help him.
