Details are emerging on the death of politician Kalya Kones who died in his Ngata home in Kiamunyi.
According to a family member who has requested anonymity, the deceased ‘might have taken poison over troubled marriage life’.
“Truth be told, the man was living a stressful marriage life. No one wants to imagine his or her spouse is cheating,” the source said.
The family source said it was ‘painful and hurting’ that people will not want to tell the truth.
“When these things happen, families will want to push them under the rag. Let us speak the truth and let those who hurt us know that they caused this death,” the source added.
Doctors at the War Memorial hospital said the man was taken at the facility ‘after taking poison’.
They put him on the ICU in efforts to save his life but he died.
Details of the death emerged on March 1 when Nakuru journalists were tipped of ‘a politician’s son committing suicide’.
Information however became scanty as the police remained tight lipped on the developments.
The deacesed is the son of the late veteran politician Kipkalya Kones.
