Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu now wants Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to intervene and ask the county MCAs to pass the supplementary budget.
Ngilu says that Kitui Wiper MCAs are frustrating her government.
According to Ngilu, MCAs have ganged up to delay the county's development agenda.
Speaking to journalists in Kitui Town on Saturday, the Kitui governor accused the MCAs of playing politics with serious issues.
"I am appealing to my brother Kalonzo Musyoka to call to order MCAs elected on his party and ask them to stop sabotaging service delivery to the people of Kitui," she said.
Ngilu said that delay by MCAs to pass the supplementary budget is hurting service delivery.
Governor Ngilu warns that the county is likely to cripple if MCAs fail to pass the budget.
Ngilu has since urged Kitui County Assembly Speaker George Ndotto to rally MCAs to approve the budget.
Majority of Kitui MCAs have however, vowed not to approve the supplementary budget.
The MCAs want governor Ngilu to explain how the previous budget they approved in June was utilized.
Ngilu who was elected on NARC party ticket has several times rubbed shoulders with MCAs majority who were elected on the Wiper party ticket.
