Outspoken Makadara MP George Aladwa is admitted at hospital in Nairobi.
The lawmaker who doubles as Nairobi ODM Chairman is at the upscale Nairobi Hospital.
On Tuesday, opposition chief Raila Odinga took time to visit the lawmaker at the health facility where he consoled and wished him well.
It is not clear the ailment the legislator is suffering from.
The ODM party announced of his admission in the hospital through its official Twitter account on Tuesday evening.
The tweet did not however say the period the MP has been at the hospital.
"H.E. Raila Odinga today (Tuesday) visited Makadara MP Hon George Aladwa who is recuperating at the Nairobi Hospital," ODM said in its tweet.
"The party leader wished the lawmaker who is also the Nairobi County Party Chairman a quick recovery so that he can resume his duties of service to the people."
Aladwa played an instrumental role in campaigning for ODM party candidates and Raila in Nairobi during the campaigns for the August 8 general election.
He remains among Raila's close political associates in Nairobi.
