Bonchari MP John Oyioka has attacked former MP John Opore for his persistent criticism about his style of leadership.
Oyioka who was speaking on Saturday at Suneka claimed that Opore is an old confused man who is desperate and loitering around the constituency to taint his name.
"I am not going to be worried about this old, confused man moving across the constituency spreading propaganda about my leadership. He served for three terms but, he is never satisfied. Opore should leave me alone since I am not of his type," said the MP.
The legislator urged Opore to retire from active politics and enjoy his pension in peace.
"Opore has pension which he should enjoy and stop causing trouble in the constituency. I need peace to serve the electorates and not addressing the propaganda he is spreading about me," he said.
Oyioka added that he will push for Opore to be enrolled in the special programme for the elderly so that he can also start earning monthly government allowance for the elderly people because he is not satisfied with the retirement pension.
