A defilement suspect has been found dead at Ukwala police station in Ugenya.

Police sources at the station said the man’s body was found dangling from the ventilating grills in the cell he was in.

Ugenya OCPD Willy Simba confirmed the incident.

He said the body of the suspect was found during a routine check.

Simba said the suspect hanged himself with his jacket.

He had been charged over the defilement of his own daughter.

The body has been taken to Ukwala sub-county hospital mortuary.
